One of the most intimidating things in my life is a blank page. I’ve spent hours staring at the whiteness, unmarred by ink, and feeling blocked.
I’ve been writing eleven years and look forward to spending the rest of my life sharing my crazy imagination with the people around me.
I grew up surrounded by my twelve siblings in a small town in western Colorado. I would never have started to write without the encouragement of my older sister Rachel, and I’m eternally grateful for her stubborn insistence that I carry around that ratty old notebook trying to milk a story out the meager inspiration of my fourteen year old mind.
Now, years later I spend as much time as I can writing and adventuring in the beautiful Willamette Valley, and watching the ocean from the beaches of the Pacific Northwest.
Oh, and one of my favorite things is adding to the beauty in the world with my pictures.
